Does anyone know how to open an MDI file in MS Windows? In my 'My Documents' folder I have several files, most are photos, that are saved as MDI files by MS Windows. I read somewhere that MS Win will save a normal GIF or JPEG file as an MDI in certain situations like when old files are transferred from an older computer to a new one?!?!
Not sure if that is correct but can't find how to open these files. When you click open, the box comes up asking you what program you would like to use to open the file. I have chosen Word from the list to try to open the MDI files that I know were originally made in Word, but those files wont open either.
I would be so very happy if someone could tell me how to open such a file as many are old photos that I no longer have copies of and would love to have again. 1999 Gmc Sierra Program Door Locks.
