The program trains students to offer high quality nursing care in a range of health care settings. Graduates from the program are eligible to sit for the national licensing exam (NCLEX RN). Students are admitted to the College of Nursing as freshman with guaranteed required classes and clinical practice hours enabling most students to graduate from the program in four years. The program offers basic nursing training supported by the University’s core course of study. The curriculum is offered through lectures, seminars, clinical and laboratory experiences and simulated learning.
